      Providing High Pressure Steam at 150 psig at 367 ºF
      Also Low Pressure Steam at 15 psig at 250 ºF
  • Boilers are dual fuel capable (natural gas or fuel oil)
  • Steam plant controls by Invensys Foxboro I/A Series Distributed Control System
  • State of the Art water treatment system utilizing reverse osmosis technology supplying high quality boiler feed water

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

  • Incorporated in 1983 as a section 501 (C) (12) organization exempt from federal and state income tax
  • All residual net revenues are reinvested back into the steam plant and distribution system, capital improvements or steam rate reduction
  • Management is assisted in operational and financial decisions by a dedicated board of directors group comprised of seven members representing the steam users
  • The member’s ownership rights of PACT are proportional to the historical steam usage of that member to all historical steam usage of PACT from inception
  • PACT is non-regulated by the PUC. The board of directors along with management have developed an efficient financial model that results in the most favorable current rate base for its members reflecting operational requirements
